Sorry folks for our lack of posts. I wish I could say we have been busy working away on house projects, but alas, thats not the case. We did recently purchase a 1920’s butlers pantry and stripped most of the laquer paint off of the wood and hardware. Unfortunately, the summer heat is at its peak and we can’t bring ourselves to get back to work. Once the weather cools off (or maybe during the week nights), we plan on finishing the pantry off and installing it into our kitchen wall. Its sure to be a perfect fit for the bungalow.

Other recent purchases include an old bungalow door, that is also in need of repair, and a pair of antique corbels that I am planning on painting and then installing into our header above the breakfast bar in the kitchen. (Hard to picture, but we’ll post pictures if we ever get around to working on the house again. Ha!)

We do hope to have all of the above purchases refinished and installed before our fall party in September. Wish us luck!
